Integration with CAD Applications.
Direct add-ins place
Korrigo functionality directly into the interface of
CAD tools from Autodesk, SolidWorks and Bentley Systems so engineering users can
manage their documents from within the CAD application. There is no need
to open another program, simply utilize the
"Korrigo" menu now available
in these popular CAD tools.
Korrigo users have their choice of one of the
following direct CAD add-ins:
- AutoCAD 2008–2010
- Autodesk Inventor 2010
- SolidWorks 2008–2010

Integration With Desktop Applications.
Windows Explorer is the most common and familiar electronic document management tool. Despite its popularity, Windows Explorer does not offer the functionality required by engineers. With the addition of the Windows Extension Service,
Korrigo users now have all the advanced
Korrigo functionality embedded right into Windows Explorer. Engineers can utilize the familiar Windows Explorer interface and file tree to access
Korrigo capabilities, manage distributed data repositories, and collaborate in real time.
Korrigo users also have their choice of one direct add-in to a Microsoft Office and OpenOffice application to integrate
Korrigo functionality for easy management of office documents.

Enables Data Unification.
Aggregating all parts of a project can be extremely difficult when using multiple tools, file types, workgroups and content housed in distributed data repositories.
Korrigo's unique architecture enables true data unification by bringing all parts of a project together in a single consistent view.
Korrigo users can search and manage files in distributed repositories effortlessly, as if the information was stored locally. Routine functions in the design and release process can be automated to eliminate document control groups.
Data Unification is important because it provides companies with a new way to leverage the valuable information within their enterprise to improve operations, reduce costs, and gain a competitive advantage. Data unification addresses the real business need to produce, capture and control documents wherever they reside. This provides engineers and management teams with a "big picture" view of the business which leads to improved decision making, streamlined process, and greater efficiency.

Integration with Enterprise Security Systems.
Engineers have the option to utilize the stand alone security system built into
Korrigo or to integrate the system into existing enterprise authentication, identity verification and security systems. This level of integration allows a single sign on capability for immense time savings and total security.
Korrigo can be configured to use existing tools like Active Directory or LDAP using JAAS.

Flexible User Licensing.
Korrigo offers flexible licensing options with both named-user and floating licenses available to meet your specific end user demands and service requirements. A general user license is available for non-engineers who need secure access to engineering repositories through Windows Explorer and office applications.

Unconstrained File Management.
A bulk import tool is included with
Korrigo for loading, moving or transferring large sets of files from an existing system into
Korrigo, if needed. However,
Korrigo's open platform and unique architecture is built on industry standards and allows the system to search, manage and control files stored in distributed repositories from the
Korrigo portal, Windows Explorer or native applications. Users can manage files at their source so there may be no need to ever migrate data. Additionally, there is no limit to the number of documents that can be stored in
Korrigo.

Makes Your Engineering Department Enterprise-Ready.
Korrigo serves as a stepping stone for engineering departments that need to begin moving toward a corporate-oriented document environment.
Korrigo utilizes Open Platform Services and a Kinnosa JCR repository built on industry standards for storing files that do not lock engineering documents into a proprietary data vault.
Korrigo's open architecture prepares engineering to merge into the greater corporate environment without having to invest in expensive systems integration, revamp IT infrastructure, or change normal work routines.
Korrigo Open Platform Services are an open, integrable portfolio of Web service products that provide the basic services needed to build
Korrigo solutions. Platform components are built using the J2SE/J2EE platforms, JCR-170/JSR-170, and other Java and .NET technologies to ensure interoperability between
Korrigo and other application environments including Windows Explorer and native applications.
